Stelios Tzellos is a pharmaceutical strategy and oncology insights leader with experience across molecular biology, analytics, forecasting, and commercial development. Born and raised in the United Kingdom to Greek immigrants, he built a strong academic foundation at Imperial College London, where he completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biochemistry followed by a doctorate in Molecular Biology.
After completing his PhD, Stelios joined GlobalData as a healthcare analyst focused on oncology and haematology, developing epidemiology models, market forecasts, and competitive assessments. He later joined IQVIA, advancing through roles in oncology disease insights and the Analytics Center of Excellence. In 2020 he moved to AstraZeneca, where he leads cross-functional projects supporting product strategy, market planning, and portfolio decision making.
He lives in the UK with his wife and their young family. He follows football and basketball, and enjoys DIY projects and going to concerts and the theatre.
